Ngāti Toa School is a small primary school situated in Titahi Bay, Porirua. It caters for students from years 1 to 6. Most on the roll identify as Māori and the school has a close association with the local marae. While education is provided in English, tikanga Māori is incorporated naturally in daily routines and practices. The school operates as a whānau and is warm and welcoming. It is an established part of the community and many on the roll are second generation students.
